Rebranding the south west’s leading roofing + cladding contractor.

 

Back in the 80s, when Progressive Systems Ltd was founded, branding wasn’t really something they gave a great deal of thought to. Fast-forward to 2022, and the business is an entirely different proposition, with a big friendly team, an unrivaled reputation in the south west, and lots of happy clients.

I know they won’t mind me saying that they hated their old logo as much as I did, (it was shit). And, with a new management team coming up through the ranks to run the business, now was the perfect time to rebrand.

Their website is more read it and sleep than read it and weep, so a tone of voice guide was also top on their list of priorities. And the name? We all agreed that ‘Progressive Systems Ltd’ was a bit of a mouthful, and as luck would have it, their clients and suppliers did too, so shortening their trading name was a no-brainer.

These guys are the holy grail of clients in that they are an easy-going, sociable bunch, the kind of people you just wanna hang out with. So, kicking off the project with a fun brand workshop to get their positioning off the ground was a great icebreaker involving the whole team.

Taking them forwards with a better understanding of who they are, how they can best help their clients and what their clients value the most about their service, and their team, was pivotal to the success of their rebrand, so client and supplier surveys and competitor analysis formed the basis of the design brief for the brand you see here.

And the result?

Progressive Systems Ltd are now trading as progressive, with the hashtag #weareprogressive (they actually are), a tone of voice that sounds like the honest, friendly bunch they are.

And branding that they LOVE.
